Chivalry's Role In Modern Day Society

Chivalry does in fact exist in modern day society, although there are differences in its original structure. Chivalry was a code of morals and rules ones of nobility would follow in the medieval era containing several traits a person should be or have, this code being associated with being a knight. The code is a combination of the traits generosity, compassion, courtesy, and fellowship, just to name a few. They are traits that are linked to being an acceptable person, so the argument is that people today aren’t as honorable as they use to be.
Fellowship is having a friendly association with all the populace a man meets. Even when he meets an enemy, he must treat him with honor, respect, and general friendliness. While the majority of people in the physical world are either splendid or prosecuted before true harm can be done, the Internet is less secure. People on the internet will discredit ideas and burlesque people simply to vent their rage. People who mosey online simply to release their rage on others who do not deserve it, in other words they are cyber bullying. What people don’t notice
Courtesy is surpassingly related to holding the door open for personage or saying “please” and “thank you.” More than half of youth today do not use these terms, a large number of adolescents using slang and foul language in their stead. What can be argued is that simple handshakes and gestures have been replaced by several other cultures’ representation of those actions. Handshakes abide with fist-bumps and other forms of greeting like how people from Spain and Mexico kiss each other’s face. The courtesy of sending a letter by mail to sending a picture or text on your phone is no different than going from wearing a shirt made of wool to a shirt made of cotton. When a speaker changes, it’s saying the same words, it’s not a completely different message. Courtesy isn’t dead; it’s more diverse than it used to
