At some points in McCandless’s expedition to the Last Frontier times were rough and there didn’t seem as if hope was coming, but he always had a mindset of not giving up and usually got what he wanted. “I have always been unsatisfied with life as most people live it. These main ideals have restated the qualities that it takes to be a hero. All of the diligent planning, generosity, and never deserting his heart is what clinched onto his heroism. Krakauer made a misrepresentation of Chris through “Into the Wild”. Therefore this lead many people onto the idea that Chris being a coward. Yet he did something a seldom amount of people which was to step outside of his comfort zone and went down the road not taken. If the life of McCandless had not been taken could he still be seen as a hero without this long lasting
