Why Is Chris Mccandless Crazy

I agree with the author. Chris wasn’t crazy for many reasons. He was a very smart man. He graduated college and was planning on becoming a lawyer, until he realized something many wish they did. He understood what he was passionate for and it wasn’t law school. Chris McCandless was a very bright man. He knew exactly what he was doing and he enjoyed it. He believed society set basic rules for humans like getting a good education, get a career, and have a family. . But he didn’t believe in that. Some may call him a “Hippie” or “outsider” but just because he doesn’t believe in our society does not make him crazy. He showed lots of logos while in Alaska such as knowing how to start fires and kill animals. He showed pathos by having a good attitude. He was freezing, tired, and starving but he was still having a great time. He also picked up some ethos on the way. He talked to some Alaskan residents how it was like up there to get an idea and to prepare for what is coming.
