Christ Persuasive Essay
persuasive essay

There is only one way to god and that is threw Jesus Christ. We have to go through Jesus because we are sinners and sin cannot be in God’s presence. Sin is falling short of Gods glory and since we all fall short we need Jesus to bring us back. To have Jesus we must accept him. People are naturally sinners we are born into it. So naturally we cannot be with God because we have sin. That is why God sent Jesus as the perfect sacrifice so that threw him we can be saved. In Romans 3:23 it says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” That’s why we need Jesus because we all sin and fall short. In a way Jesus is like the middle man between God and us, because to go with God we need to go through Jesus but if Jesus never have died for us than we would never be with God and everyone would be in hell because we are all sinners and fall short of his glory. Jesus is Gods only provision for man’s sin. Only threw Jesus we can now what it’s like to feel God’s love, and know what his plan is for our life. In Romans 5:8 it says “God demonstrates his own loves towards us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” This verse tells us that God loved us even though we are sinners and didn’t believe in him. Than it says that Christ died for us. That is amazing to me to know that somebody came down from heaven, from a perfect life to a world with sin and death. Just so he can sacrifice himself and take our sins just so we can be with God when we die in our earthly life but we will forever in heaven. Its amazing to me because Jesus didn’t have to save us we made our own decision to fall into sin. So we in a way killed ourselves. He didn’t have to come down die and be separated from God he already had everything he was living in heaven. I just don’t understand because I’m almost certain that if we were in that position we would stay in heaven and let the people suffer for their decision, but we would say that because were

When Adam sinned and the Fall occurred, God’s original intent for man was lost. We were no longer able to dwell in his presence and be identified as his creation (p 115). It made us broken and separate from Him. Without properly understanding the Fall, there is no reason to know and understand Jesus’ coming and dying on the cross for us. He came and died a horrible death in our place because of the Fall. Knowing it helps us to understand God’s plan for redemption. In Romans 5 it talks about there being a second Adam and how he would come and save us. It took one man to separate us eternally from God, and it would take one man to save…

John 8:12 says, When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." If you believe in God, and follow what His plans are for you, He will only give you things to help you and make you prosperous, never things to harm you. John 14:6 says “ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to my Father, except through me.” Basically, if you want to have eternal life there is no other way to do so unless you have faith in God, and believe His Word. If a man does not believe in God, and doesn’t follow in His ways, he makes up his own rules, his own ideas of how life should be lived and sets up his own failures. The main reason we were created was to fellowship with God, and worship Him. When man doesn’t have a relationship with God, he feels an emptiness and is dissatisfied. He can not be truly content with his life unless he has the Holy Spirit working in him. To be saved by God, you have to accept that God is who He says He is and accept Him as your savior, then you have to repent and confess your sins to God. God is very forgiving, and He says if you confess all your sins to Him he will forgive you. After you do all that, you are born again, and have started your relationship with God. In the book Praxis they say that “The new life God brings about is truly an amazing act of His graciousness and…

Christianity is an ancient religion that is centered on the teachings of Christ. The history of Christianity concerns the Christian religion, its followers and the Church with its various denominations, from the first century to the present. Christianity was founded in the 1st century in the Levant region of the Middle East by Jesus of Nazareth, who is prophesied in the Old Testament to be the Christ or chosen one of God. This religion has been around since 4BC-30AD (the time of Christ). The early Christians believed that there were seven heavens, one physically above the other. They also believed that god is Omni-present, rather than enthroned in the highest heaven. Like the latter, Christianity was originally a movement of oppressed people it first appeared as the religion of slaves and emancipated slaves of poor people deprived of all rights of peoples subjugated or dispersed by Rome. Christianity was the recognized state religion in the Roman World Empire.…

Due to the financial crisis there have been many changes made to government programs to reduce costs and help with debt. Many of these cuts are happening statewide, in America’s public schools. The first programs that are being cut are the art programs, and the excuse is that the core classes are more important. The argument is that children need to be more focused on test scores in Math, Science, English and History. It is unfair to single out art classes, there should be a more even spread of budget cuts, not just the sole elimination of the arts. There are parents who are indifferent with the arts and they are unfazed by their removal from elementary public schools. What many of these parents do not recognize is that there are actually benefits of the arts that help with core subjects. Some benefits are strengthening problem solving skills, stimulating critical thinking and helping developmental growth. There is also a duel component that shows that there is a direct correlation between SAT test scores and art programs in schools, as well as higher participation and attendance. It has also been shown that the arts can help boost the economy.…

One key theme of God’s Grace that is illuminated in the bible is its availability to every man. Titus (2:11), asserts, "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men." Whereas God’s grace of salvation is available to all men, not all men are saved and this is not God’s fault. In Luke 19:10, Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost.” This illustrates that it was through the grace of God that Jesus came to save the world.…

Jesus Christ is the sinless, eternal Son of God. We are all sinners. God is a Holy God. He is Love and He is Justice and MUST punish sin (Luke 11:42). The Bible says that "all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23) and "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." (Ezekiel 18:4) Note that this death does not simply mean the grave, but eternal death, in Hell and the Lake of Fire, which was designed for the Devil and his (fallen) angels. (Matthew 25:41, 2 Peter 2:4-9) So that means all of us are, from the moment we first commit a sin on our way to hell. Remember that Jesus said that even if you look upon a woman in a lustful way, that you have committed adultery in your heart. (Matthew 5:27-28) If you hate in your heart it is murder (1 John 3:15). Being so Holy that He cannot tolerate sin (even the angels cover their faces and feet before Him (Isaiah 6:1-7)) God cannot allow us sinners into heaven, His holy place at the end of life/time. If He did, He would no longer be a good, Holy, Just God. But being Love He devised a way to save us all, without compromising His position as a Holy God, which He could never do. He sent His sinless Son, Jesus Christ into the World to pay the penalty for our sins. His Holy standards demand a sinless substitute. The only sinless man on earth was His eternal (ever-existing) Son.…

It is through our knowledge and revelation of God that we find out who He is and what He expects of each of us. In scripture we find God revealing himself to us. We find that our disobedience separates us from God, makes us afraid of God, make us want distance between us and God. But God who desires fellowship always reaches out to humanity. The Bible has plenty of examples that speak to this fact such as, "Your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear" (Isaiah 59:2).…

When looking into different worldviews, it is hard to pinpoint our own actual worldview. We have to look through so many different icons and it is still hard to pinpoint their actual worldview.
