Christine De Pisan Research Paper
Christine De Pisan was “born in Venice, Italy, in 1364, Christine de Pisan is considered a pioneering feminist writer and one of the[most famous female] writers of Medieval times.” Christine de Pisan’s father helped her at the age of 13 to learn about subjects such as Greek and Latin, also becoming very strongly minded in great literature.
“Around the age of 15, [Christine]de Pasin married Etienne du Castel, a member of the French Court.” Etienne supported Christin de Pasin through her writing goals. Sadly, after having three children together, Etienne du Castel died in the year of 1386, after he had contracted the bubonic plague. Christine de Pasin struggled with the tragic loss of her husband having to deal with raising three children
