Cite's Poem As A Metaphor For Life

I interpret this poem as a metaphor for life. Way too often we are in a hurry to get through the "dance" that we do not stop and enjoy the music. The small but beautiful things in life are the music.

The rain, the sunsets, our children growing are all wonderful things that happen. Unfortunately, the majority of the time we are all in a hurry just to get through the day to make it another day to do the same thing. We need to take the time to slow down and look around and appreciate those small things. If you can enjoy the pace in your life, you will be able to enjoy the small things that happen in your life ( Cite). One day when we look back, the little things will be the treasures God gave us that we will miss and wish we had back.
