Dear politician:
I am writing to you because of our environment and how important it is to conserve for our environment especially because it will help to provide a brighter future that is not for just us as human beings but to all living life forms on this planet, it is past time for all of us individuals to start changing our ways of life, to start such things as burning less coal and oil in order to help reduce and hopefully eventually help to eliminate the human carbon footprint on our planet. Human carbon footprints are caused by the releases of carbon dioxide and another gas called methane gas into the earth’s atmosphere and it causes the earth to warm much faster than it has in past years.
These faster rising temperatures of the earth have caused some very severe effects on the climate change and now the climate change is being observed around the world by not just scientist but by all of us. All of the sea levels are rising at a fast pace because of how fast the ice glaciers are melting, the arctic sea ice is melting, permafrost and expansion of warmer seawater, that is also causing serious threats for all sea creatures and which also includes the death of the world’s coral reefs. The warmer climate change can also be held responsible for the extreme droughts that have been happening that causes a higher evaporation rate which then leads to a heavier rainfall in some areas of the world and causes flooding in others as well as it effecting the world’s crops because it causes withering and decline in our food production which then means a food shortage for many if not all communities.
What I have noticed from former elections is that the problem with the climate change has fallen through the cracks and this is something that us the really care about. This all happened because of the lack thereof data available and the different opinions that scientists have had in the past, but now it has become very clear to people that it is very important to change our Carbone footprint on the planet.
This is why I am writing you and encouraging you to address this problem in your speech, to make the people aware of the risks greenhouse gases pose to public health and the welfare of our planet.
This is very important for all of these different reasons to help reduce the effects that the climate changes have been doing to our planet. By helping to reduce our carbon print on the planet we will be able to help secure a sustainable life for future generations to come and this will also help to protect all wild life natural habitats. By make these changes in our lives and how we do things everyday as well as cutting back in consuming all of our natural resources we can make a very big difference and help to eliminate the climate change. Doing these types of things we will be helping not to over-strip the supplies we have, we will help to reduce our carbon footprint. How we would do this would be to use cleaner energy sources like wind, solar power, reforestation or starting to plant trees around our home to help to reduce the temperature inside all of our homes. By reducing our consumption of such things as beef, we can reduce the amount of methane gases emitted by the atmosphere every year. By eating more organic food we will also be helping reduce the amount of toxic chemical fertilizers that are used in farming and is contaminating out natural water resources.
It is very apparent that warming is a danger that we need to avoid not matter what it takes to do no matter how much it will cost us financially as well as how what we have to do as individuals to preserve and not just enjoy but respect our environment, and all the living things that share this planet with us.
All of these things are very important to us the people and these are very conceivable options and things people can do to help stop the global warming and help our planet.
I hope you take my letter and what I had to say into consideration and address it.
Sincerely,

Global climate change has been a subject of much discussion for some time now. The earth has naturally gone through heating and cooling phases in its lifetime. Most scientists agree that these changes aren’t solely the product of humans, but that the time required for natural climate change has been decreased due to humans. This has led to new problems for the earth and all of its inhabitants. According to research the earth is warming at an average of 1.2-1.4° F every 100 years (epa.gov).…

The most well-known effect of global warming is that the rise in temperature could cause ice caps, glaciers and sea ice to melt. Since the 1950’s arctic sea ice has reduced by 10-15%, and the Jakobshavn glacier in Greenland retreated by 10km between 1997 and 2007, both of which are evidence that the recent increases in temperature are causing ice to melt. This melting of ice, along with thermal expansion of water, caused by increased temperatures will lead to rise in sea levels; average global sea levels could rise almost 1m between 1990 and 2100. A rise in sea levels could have devastating social impacts on low lying coastal areas; a 1m rise in sea levels could flood over…

Because of the climate change, the earth is in danger. People don’t realize that the things they use or do every day are hurting the earth and living things. Nature.org says, “…one-fourth of Earth’s species will be headed for extinction by 2050 if the warming trend continues at its current rate…” Because the temperature is increasing, ice is melting. Because ice is melting, sea levels are rising. Higher temperatures don’t only melt ice but evaporates the moisture in the air. Evaporation will take away all of the land’s water leaving it as dry as a desert. With a drought now in progress, it will make it harder to find water and support agriculture.…

I hope my presence here was not in vain and that I have succeeded in prompting a bigger change. Even now we are working towards a greener future, we are slicing our carbon emissions and using environmentally friendly energy. Australia has unveiled a plan to cut carbon emission by 26 percent by 2030. America and China the world’s biggest polluters are funding greener energy and I congratulate each and every one of you sincerely because that means our voices are being heard, but more needs to be done. If we can put aside our short term interests then we won’t be too late for the future generations. These small steps will become leaps and they will become bounds and soon we will achieve what we strive to…

The atmosphere is choking from excessive amounts of carbon dioxide. Greenhouse gases are melting polar icecaps and rising sea levels. Deforestation is diminishing our chances of ever discovering new species in forests and destroying the carbon cycle. Humans do in fact have the capability of changing the basic chemistry of this massive planet. Scientific evidence shows that we have already contributed to irreversible climate change. Humankind has an obligation to reconcile its difference with the environment and learn to conserve natural resources. Conservation begins with knowledge, which leads to action, which will save our…

Nowadays many ecological and social changes are happening, which affect our planet Earth in a negative way. These changes more or less, are caused by the rise of global temperatures. All of this problems, disorders and pollutions are the products from one of the biggest challenges that we people are facing today that is Global Warming. This serious problem causes the rise of the average temperatures in the Earth’s atmosphere and oceans, and it is projected that it will continue unless we people do something about it. Global Warming is happening now, that can be seen through many examples, Oceans are acidifying, Precipitation patterns are changing, Sea ice is melting and other problems that disorder the Earth.…

In the article “Climate Change, Coming home: Global Warming Effects on populations”, we have learned from “Sarah DeWeerdt” that global warming lead to more than just one effects on our society. One thing leads to another that leads to anoher and the chain is never ending. The changing in the rainfall frequency leads to insufficient amount and bad quality of the crops which leads to malnutrition. Malnutrition causes diseases. Natural disasters is another the potential affect of the climate change although there is no certain evidence that climate change cause a specific big event like Hurricane Catrina(DeWeerdt). However a study asserts “magnitude and timing of the heat wave were consistent with computer models of climate change” (DeWeerdt). Human is highly responsible for this changes. It is hard to say that we should refrain the burning of fossil fuels. People have no choice but to generate a vast amount energy for the living and thus inevitably leading to climate change.…

When asked the question about climate change, most people tend to have heard about the topic, but people do not know about what is happening to the earth. Climate change is defined as general increase in the earth’s temperature over a defined period of time, which are caused by humans and by nature, of increased levels of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. Over the course of human history climate change has been watched and recorded to track the changes. In the last 30 years, there have been increases in general global temperatures which at the same period seen an increase in destruction of the rainforest, and increase in industrialization production, namely in automobile manufacturing.…

“It is now clear that we face a deepening global climate crisis that requires us to act boldly, quickly, and wisely,” said Al Gore. I agree with this. As we can see in our daily life, the temperature is now different from what we used to be. Like, If it is summer, there is no rain, but now, even if it is summer, there still a rain. We really need to do something about this, at least we start at something small, by this it can help the earth in little way and slowly our old environment will be back. All we need to do is to be united on what to do to help our environment.…
