Additionally, I have had multiple opportunities to float into the emergency department- specifically this semester. Nevertheless, I can without a doubt say my time during my clinical rotation at All Children’s was by far my most rewarding experience. My time in the emergency center helped me

The immune system protects the body from disease by having a complex system of organs and cells to keep the body safe. Today I had the opportunity to redo a missed clinical date. I joined in Professor Connor’s Thursday group at RCH. I actually really enjoyed Professor Connor’s teaching style. She moved swift enough to give ample learning opportunities to all of us! I appreciated her moving so quickly as I got to administer my first injection! Not only did I administer a flu shot, but I also administered a heparin injection and an insulin injection! Professor Connors was the real MVP today. I could not believe how much of a confidence boost it was for me. I am almost happy I had to redo a missed clinical.…

I am sitting at the back corner of the library, looking out the window. The trees outside are brown. Most of the leaves have already fallen. Birds on the branches are easy to observe. Some of them are flying in ranks in the sky. Sunshine passes through the glass and warms my face. The sunshine is soft and it makes me feel warm all over. When I am concentrating on the view outside, a short white boy in oversized red shirt and black cap hums as he paces towards me. He sits next to me, opens his book and reads out the words. I decide to leave that sunny corner and walk towards the study desks.…
