Recently a new free clinic has opened in my town which I feel is a good start on bringing our community closer with a lending hand. For one, free clinics are an essential part of a health care system. At an average, 95 % of MDs are board certified. The staff consisting of physicians, nurses and volunteers work together to provide a professional and immediate attention to the patients at need. Free clinics serve 1.9 million mostly uninsured patients. Free clinics help in cases dealing with a range from eye glasses and medications to dental needs. However, important test dealing with a closer observation require a transfer to the emergency room.
On March 23, 2010 The Affordable Care Act was signed into law to reform the health care industry by President Barack Obama and upheld by the Supreme Court on June 28, 2012. Once the act was passed Obama developed a new health care insurance called Obama Care.
