Somehow people have survived life without the people or things that they thought they couldn’t live without. Veterans or people who have cancer can be an example as to those who have survived life. Veterans have either lost a limb or perhaps needed an organ. Some veterans are still living with an organism they lost or possibly didn’t make it. Those who are for …show more content…
therapeutic cloning should do a little more of thinking it well. Yes,ah at some point an organism won’t function, so the first thought a person would have would be to get better. Whether or not people like it, everyone is going to die eventually, so there’s no point of cloning one’s organ to get better, or better yet, throwing away a big chunk of money. Others who have or had cancer in a specific part of the body may have lost an organ, limb, etc. Replacing an organ couldwill be great. No more cancer, right? But, replacing a damaged organ in the body doesn’t mean it can affect something else in the body in a bad way. What happens if the organs around the replacing organ is not used to it. Yes, it’s the recipient’s DNA, but it can still reject that new organ. Therefore, society doesn’t know what therapeutic cloning can lead to. Of course, scientist never tried it, but it’s a risk that people are willing to take. Therapeutic cloning can actually change the way a person can think about their body. For example, when you get a new toy you would take good care of it because youryou’re parents are not going to be paying money after every toy you break. On the other hand, if you were given the chance to get a new toy every time you broke a toy you would take advantage and wouldn’t care if it broke. That can be the same exact way a person can do with therapeutic cloning. A person can be so caught up with replacing a certain organ. Sooner or later it will be taken for granted and could possibly be dangerous for opening up your body so many times. With just two2 replacements you can become picky about every organ you have. When a new idea comes up people focus on the good outcomes it can bring , but human beings don’t usually think about the negative results therapeutic cloning results can lead to. Although Therapeutic cloning can be good in medical purposes, it still can’t be good for your body personally.
Reproductive cloning on the other hand won’t be good as well. In the article's reproductive cloning arguments pro and con it is mentioned that “Reproductive cloning would diminish the uniqueness of an individual.” Reproducing a child is the most beautiful moment you can experience. Mostly because your partner (that you love) and you have created a human being that won’t look similar to any other person. Cloning yourself to have a “child” will ruin the perspective of bearing or raising an actual kid. Having a clone as your “child” wouldn’t be a great idea. Hhaving a kid is a major difference than having a kid that looks exactly like you in every way. Those who can’t bear children because of multiple reasons have the opportunity to adopt a child. Why want more when you can get a kid without going through so much
trouble?. The sound of cloning sounds pretty awesome, but knowing the fact that it’s possible is so crazy and exciting that you would do anything to see that happen right? Ssometimes you have to think about the situation really well like knowing if you can be able to trust the cloning method. Ccan you handle life with or without cloning? Wwill you be able to not take it for granted? Oor will people in the future will have the chance to experience life how it is now? These are some of the questions you have to think about in situations like these because you don’t know how one thing can change the future or turn things into chaos.
