Coconut Creek Elementary School Analysis
When my mom withdrew me from the christian school, in first grade, she then enrolled me into; my second grade year, Coconut Creek Elementary School. After enrolling to this elementary school my mom says I learned so much more than I did in the Christian school. A perfect example of learning much better would be my reading level, my reading level (judged by the fcat) went from a two to a four. I was doing great academic wise; getting A’s and B’s in my class subjects. However, just because I was doing great academically, didn't mean I liked my teachers and the subjects I was learning… It was 3rd grade when I first didn’t like my teacher. She was strict and old; didn't have an once of humor in her bones. I thought she was a mean old lady and because I thought this way of her, I would have an attitude towards her. I started to roll my eyes, suck …show more content…
It was very nerve wracking for me the first couple of days- I was taking 7 different classes, taking the school bus for the first time ever, and just meeting so many different people; it took a couple of weeks to get used to, but I really liked it. I’d could say I enjoyed middle school just a little more than high school. Being a “social butterfly” I didn’t have the slightest problem in making new friends, so there came back my “popularity"- like I had in elementary school. What also came back from elementary school was my attitude towards teachers and school work. Again I wouldn't misbehave or break the rules, but If someone would give me an attitude or scold me I would give the attitude right back… and that sometimes would give me a detention or a talk with a counselor. I had to stop the attitude sometimes and bite my tongue, because I was a cheerleader for the school’s team. Being on the team meant I was representing the squad and the school, so I always had to be on my best behavior and do the best I could to have a good GPA to stay on the

I have two major unfulfilled goals in life. First, I want to get an article published in the Reader's Digest. Any article will do. Second, I want to give a speech at the graduation ceremony of my high school. I could probably have done this in 1959 – I was student body president and the best stand-up comic on campus – but I decided not to. I now want to make up for lost time and a lost opportunity.…

It is important for teachers to know what the community, school, and statistics are before deciding to apply at a school. Knowing these facts, can help teachers decide whether or not the school is the best place for them to work at knowing their abilities. A teacher can use these facts to help benefit them in the interview and in the classroom. Creating a game plan to attack the educational areas in need will help make the teaching experience easier. Let’s say the teacher is applying to Hillcrest Elementary School part of the Revere School District. It went somewhat downhill after that because during my first year of middle school my grades were at a c average. Summer went bye like it wasn't even there and by the time school started I was very depressed. The new school I was going to was Naperville North High School which was about ten times the size of my old school in Pennsylvania in size and in the number of students. In my school in Pennsylvania there were about twelve students in each class, here the number runs around thirty two. The school building was so big I had a lot of trouble getting to class on time let alone finding them in the building. The school wasn't what I was bothered by the most because it was the fact that I didn't have any social life and I was a social person. There were a lot of different groups of people at my new high school, it was tough for me to fit in and meet new people. Everyone just knew me as the new kid and didn't even bother to find out what my real name was. The first month of being the new kid is a very hard month of school. I knew no one who I had anything in common with and began to get terrible grades in…

If you weren't my friend at St. Peters you better hope that you weren't mean to me, because if you were the teachers would find out what you did and they get in trouble.…

Freshman year was exciting, because of finally being in the high school. Soon realizing that almost everyone thinks you are stupid and want nothing to do with you. Between that and being confused on where to go, what to do, and when to shut up, it was nerve wrecking to say the least. Thinking you are a stud and the coolest kids around does not really help with the upper classmen. Being able to participate in high school sports just makes the experience all the better and going to homecoming and formal was a blast. No worries besides school and what you were going to do that weekend with your friends. Being able to drive anywhere you pleased made you feel all the more free.…
