Code Of Ethics: The Flint Water Crisis In Michigan
A code of ethics serves as the foundation for a congruous society, the Roman Empire is famous for how long it stood strong, and a main contributor to its good functioning, was there ethical code. Disregard for the code of ethics has almost always yielded disastrous results. There are many examples of this, a recent one being The Flint Water Crisis. On April 25, 2014 the governor of Flint Michigan, Rick Snyder, chose to change the city’s water source to a cheaper option. The cheaper option just so happened to be one that would permanently impact the lives of the 99,763 citizens of the city ( quickfacts.census.gov 2013). The city water source was which happens to harbor harmful bacteria, and the pipes carrying the water release dangerous
