College Admissions Essay: My Love
My love,

As you know, I am off to explore a land far away land (about six hours away, seven with traffic). no matter how far it may seem (315 miles) there is no distance that can fault our love. Yes, it will be hard but this is just one of the many challenges that we have faced and one of many to come. I can honestly say that I love you with all of my heart. Might I dare go as far as calling you the love of my life. That may seem extreme but I feel as if it is only natural for me to say this. As our one year comes up it is almost hard to believe that we have been together for so long I mean it’s been a year! Yet it feels like so much longer! It’s as if you know everything about me. I know you don’t but over this year we have just fit so well

I had a really terrible memory when I was young, which was about a car accident. In the summer of 1995, I was 7 years old at that time,I was playing with my friends in the garden which was near my house. Suddenly, a friend of mine started fighting with a big guy. I didn’t know what happen, I was too young and so scared, the only thing I thought was to find his parents to go for help. So a girl and I decided to run to his home. The little girl was in front of me when we were crossing the road, and we didn’t realize a car was coming. The driver saw the girl first, so he turned right to avoid hitting her, but he didn’t know that there was another child coming out.…

My life started out like the beginning of a perfect childhood. Both of my parents had steady, well-paying government jobs, we had moved into a new home and even bought a puppy. All was harmonious, until my parents decided we would have a better life in Canada. Leaving behind everything and everyone we knew was probably one of the hardest things my parents ever did for my brother and me. Struggling to fit in and assimilate was least of our problems, trying to make a decent income became a priority. My parents, who were well educated and accomplished, were compelled to settle for multiple meager jobs like a cashier at a fast food restaurant or a security guard at an apartment building. They held as many jobs as they could, working…

As I contemplated writing this essay, my thoughts ran adrift with snapshots of profound moments of my life. I can never forget experiences that have resonated with me: like assisting my elderly neighbor whose children would never visit, packing an extra lunch every day for the kid who always sat in the back of the cafeteria without anything to eat, or lending a hand in the wake of a tragic flood that destroyed my neighborhood. These moments are not just sentimental to me; they taught me empathy, and are the chief reasons behind my enthusiasm for higher education, and why I'm driven to serve public interests.…

I saw something special on you when I we first met. The moment we spent time together was the most precious to me. You allowed me to experience happiness, filled the missing pieces in my life, and served as a light in my darkest hour. You accepted my flaws and married my imperfections. From the moment we talked, played, and laughed together, I shared to you me deepest and intimate secrets- secrets about the real me, to where did I come from, and especially with regard to my family- a family which I only experienced for a short period of time. And you knew how I longed to have one. A family which is I can protect, nurture and love. Looking back, it is clear to me how amazing the power of love is. It holds us together.…

I believe that love is more than just a word, I believe that love is what makes the world go round and is the driving force behind everything, I believe that love is the thing that can make any human happy, but at the same time can be the source of their insanity. One thing i've been trying to figure out is what drives a person to be sad or happy? I've always thought happiness is what you make it out to be, and is different for every single person, but one thing i'm almost positive about, is that we all find happiness in love. Ever since I was a kid, i've always thought that getting married to the person of your dreams was the ultimate life goal, and to me, still is the ultimate life goal. Recently i've met a girl, she's the most amazing woman i've ever met, and ever will meet. She is…

Essays in Love is a novel about two young people, who meet on an airplane between London and Paris and rapidly fall in love. The structure of the story isn’t unusual, but what lends the book its interest is the extraordinary depth with which the emotions involved in the relationship are analysed. Love comes under the philosophical microscope. An entire chapter is devoted to the nuances and subtexts of an initial date. Another chapter mulls over the question of how and when to say ‘I love you’. There’s an essay on how uncomfortable it can be to disagree with a lover’s taste in shoes and a lengthy discussion about the role of guilt in love.…

Love is a dark and intangible feeling that often exposes it's targets to danger, pain and suffering. Love is the pillar for friendship, yet it works to weaken us, and drives us to depend on and be sensitive of others. Love is built on a foundation of trust, a thin barrier between formality and chaos. This leaves room for a selected group of people to abuse the trust and take advantage. Some might argue that love brings humans together and promote cooperation, yet cooperation and unionism are two very short fangled areas, as they will soon be contaminated with betrayal and lies. Love is a dangerous component of life and it works to deceive and manipulate other people's trusts.…
