As you think about the next four years, what are you looking forward to that might surprise your friends or family members? Growing up, I have always had a special interest in computers. Whether it was learning how they work or how I could fix them, I was always trying to one-up myself in computer knowledge. Now that I am older and more mature, my interest for computers has skyrocketed. Whenever my family or friends encounter a problem with their computer or electronic devices, I am the first source of knowledge they reach out to. My parents have strongly supported my interest in computer technology, and they suggested that maybe I could study computer science and/or computer engineering in college. One main goal I want to accomplish with my collegiate studies is to be able to graduate college and become a successful human being. I want to shock my family and friends with the amount of knowledge and success I have achieved during and after college. In my opinion, I have the potential to become a very successful computer engineer/scientist. I put 100% effort into everything I do both inside and outside of the classroom. I want to be able to support my family and friends in time of need, and excelling in my collegiate computer studies would significantly increase the chance of acquiring a career after college. This career, in return, would provide me the money and assets I would need to be able to support my family and friends.
A few months ago, my family decided to purchase a new computer, as our previous computer was broken and not able to be fixed. We wanted a high quality computer, but did not want to spend too much money on something that we don’t use all the time. My family finally settled on an extremely nice and usually expensive computer that was open box and on sale. When we got home and turned
