COLLEGE LIFE
MY COLLEGE LIFE

The college years are the best time in a person's life.

College is when a child develops into an adult, a child gets out of school, faces a completely different world. This world poses different challenges and forces him/her to take up responsibilities. Indeed, I completely agree that college life is the best time in a person's life.
When I entered my college for the first day, I looked around with a mixed feeling of perplexity and joy. I was puzzled as I was not habituated to the ‘college-ways’ of things. The students in batches were moving up and down the corridors for their classes. The professors were coming smilingly and exchanging greetings with the students in a friendly manner. After finishing roll-call, our teacher gave us our assignments. What impressed me most was the way she smiles. She advised us to take the maximum advantage of college-life.
Consulting my day’s routine I found that the next was my break. This gave me a chance to make a tour round the college premises. I noted with a sense of relief that I would no longer be confined to the same room for hours together as I used to be in high school.

I went to the Canteen with my newly met friend. It was a big room with plenty of noise. The senior students were there, talking, gossiping or discussing things.

In college, as a student we are exposed to an ocean of challenges. Each individual learns to accept these challenges, work on them, develop strategies and plans, and motivate themselves to achieve success. This teaches a very important lessons of life. A student learns to become a self motivator, independent, strong and the will to take up responsibilities.

Personally, I learnt a lot of lessons in my college life which I believe made me a better person. For example, I was given a project to complete within a stated deadline. I had to plan out my time, so I could complete my project on time for submission. Through this,I learnt an important skill of time

Throughout this semester many things have been new experiences for the entire class. Some met new interesting people on the other hand some people learned new experiences that will be used throughout the rest of this next semester. Whether it was watching a video on the computer or reading through the Bedford book, many new techniques were learned, as well as new information being learned. Some day’s everything may have not been all together but everything still managed to work out for the entire class, or the one’s that stuck it out through “craziness” of being a new student or having a new teacher. All of the students were freshmen, coming to The University of Alabama for the first time, and when the group leaders rounded us together, we all conversed as we walked to Gorgas 205 to begin our orientation journey.…

On July 18, 2013, I decided to continue my education in college. First of all I imagine that college would be a very enjoyable experience. Start of the orientation time, I tried to greet anyone who might be a good friends of mine later. This is very important because I live alone with no families in Bandung. The next day, the teaching-learning process begins. Teaching-learning process in college is much more different than Senior High School. In college, we had to develop the lessons ourselves, because most lectures do not explain in details. If we don’t do that,,we will be confused and misunderstood the lessons. We also have to be able to set the time between tasks and participated in the organization. This hectic schedule sometimes makes a mess sleep schedule. But behind the challenges of college life I faced, I'm sure that I can prepare my future career and become a successful man through out college. Attending college allows students to learn new information, make lifetime friens, and prepare for a career.…

“To Be Successful, Be Daring & Be Versatile” - This is the basic principle of my life. I believe that enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge never ends and that life in itself is a process of continuous learning. The boundless possibility of trying out and the instant knowledge of the outcome that stimulates one for further analysis of a rationale in question is what I find most appealing about college education. Keeping up an inquisitive and explorative attitude, I believe, will lead to a constant learning process.…

I remember running through the automatic glass doors into the tall cool building to escape the heat. Finally inside I pulled out my schedule from my back pocket unfolded it and checked which floor I need to go and rode the elevator up. Finally at the fourth floor I walked my way down the hall and to the classroom door. I was nervous as I reached for the handle not sure what I would find inside seeing as I was ten minutes early the classroom could have been empty. As I opened the door I saw most of the people I had spent the orientation day with inside conversing with each other. I also found an unexpected friend I had in high school which put much of my nerves to ease. After about fifteen minutes of catching up we started to wonder when the professor was going to arrive or if we were in the right class to begin with. Just as the rest of the class was going to ask someone from the office next door about what to do our professor walks in. He came in a frantic rush apologizing for being late. Now my first class of college has finally begun. As most classes…
