College and career writing have diverse similarities and differences. The first similarity is how the way a person should use grammar. Grammar usage is a very important aspect in writing for professors and business owners. For example, if an application for a job has horrendous grammar, the reader of that application will most likely automatically trash that application. Additionally, if a professor receives a paper with terrible grammar, it will be given a poor grade. The second similarity has to do with writing to an important audience. Regardless if we know it or not, professors partially dictate how our future goes. If your professor gives you a bad grade in a class, your future boss will look at those grades and decide whether to hire
