If all other strategies that I recently talked about failed they would just mass kill Indigenous people or they would use genocide. In all the attempts in history full genocide never actually happened. Genocide was a cause of European expansion from colonial powers like the spanish and british empires. Genocide was enacted in two ways, through the clearing of territories of how they originally lived in order to make them exploitable so they can extract resources, or another is by forcing indigenous people to forced labours. Genocide wasn’t only exceeded by killing people but also forcing them to lose their sense of identity. The biggest case of genocide was the holocaust 6 million Jewish people were killed due to the Holocaust. Hitler believed that the Jewish people simply didn’t deserve to live so he took it into his own hands and tried to kill them all but he was unsuccessful. But the Holocaust wasn’t the only time genocide was attempted. They also tried to use genocide on Native americans if their other strategies didn’t work but not every native american didn’t follow the rules that the europeans set in place so it was unnecessary to kill them all the smart ones stayed alive because they followed the rules that the europeans put into place. At the time I don’t think the natives really knew what they were agreeing to though, they just wanted to stay alive any way they could and the best way they could was to simply give up their way of life and follow the new way of life the Europeans set in place for
