Many animals, especially farm animals, eat plants that are pollinated largely by bees. Without them, those animals would starve. That means people would not be able to eat as much meat or dairy products. The environment and economy would collapse. Native plants are often pollinated by bees. There would not be as many plants and more weeds. Families would not be able to afford food as easily. People would starve and the population would suffer. Since there would be less resources, people would be more desperate for them. Wars would start across the world to get them. Food, medicine, and clothes would be more expensive and rare. So, is what Einstein believed to say correct? Would we really only have four years to live? No one knows for sure, but we have ways to prevent bees going extinct. We should protect the bees because animals relying on certain plants would starve, the environment and economy would suffer, and there would not be as many plants for us and other animals to use. The average person can plant a bee garden or support people who are against using pesticides. Taking these simple steps can make a huge change to how bees
