One main reason that the honey bees are on the endangered species list, is simply, humans. The government and outside construction companies, send construction workers to cut down trees to build buildings. It helps people by making more jobs for workers, and creating new living spaces. Except, bees live in large trees, it’s where they make their hives. So, by cutting down trees, people are destroying their habitats. There is a simple solution for this. Construction workers should be required to scan the trees for bee hives before they cut them down. If they find one, then they can build around the tree, or can reconfigure their plans so that the tree isn’t harmed. …show more content…
If the honey bee does become extinct soon, then there would be nothing to take it’s place. This means that flowers wouldn’t be pollinated. Then, no more fruits, vegetables, nuts, honey, or coffee.
