The architects who believed in rational beauty did buildings with an order. They used shapes to create their buildings. This building reflected the structures of Ancient Greece and Rome. On the other hand, architects who believed in sensory beauty designed visually attractive structures. These buildings reflected back to the Middle Ages. I believe that the Colorado State Capitol building is beautiful because of the way it shows the values of a rational architect. The architects who designed this building created a sense of beauty by making all its parts communicate and by its symmetry. Last of all this building expresses the values of power, democracy and sophistication.

Across the world people who have wealth have power. This building demonstrates the power Colorado has. Another value this building expressed is a democracy. This building shows this by how it was built. There is a big half circle on the top of this building that shows democracy. The value of democracy is tied to the size of the building because it wants to show the authority of this government. The last value this building demonstrates is its sophistication. In picture two you see how this building was built for educated people because of the detail this building is composed of. In picture four, you can see the little lines the architect did to the top part of the building. This detail took time to be created. This is how the building shows its importance. This three values expressed the important values of a rational
