People are now growing up with the assumption that it is a good thing to be colorblind, which means not judging someone based on their race.
The problem with this idea is that it assumes that racial prejudice no longer exists.

-denies racial identity and experiences
-says u don’t seem like the race because u don’t adhere to the stereotype associated with it
