This Assignment is mainly based on the information collected from the book Lesikar’s Business communication, Business communication Today by Courtland L. Bovee and Jhon V Thill,Lecture guidance provided by course teacher Mr. Abul Khayer, Eke Group of Companies, companies’ official website etc.
This Assignment will be very helpful to know about “A marketing employee’s communication barriers and possible solution of the organization.

Executive Summary
This report provides an analysis of communication barriers of an individual employee of Eke Group of Companies and some possible solutions to overcome. The report consists of some few chapters including letter of transmission, acknowledgement and bibliography
Introduction: this part is included with the clarification of the origin and background of the report initially. But the most important point of the part is the objectives of the report.the main purpose of the report is to find out communication barriers and give some better solutions to avoid. Finally, we also included some the limitations, we faced during constructing the report.
Overview of Eke Group: In this part, we have tried to provide an overall description of the selected company “Eke Group” in brief. Then we point out different types of communications barriers of a employee’s in this company which included both internal and external.
Findings and Analysis: Effective communication is integral to the success of any organization. From this perspective, we have tried our best to find out the possible reason for this communication barriers and provided some way to overcome from this.
Recommendation: The company’s success is greatly depends on its communication skills. In this part of the report, we want to provide that things a company should do to overcome from this barriers.
Conclusion: Communication barriers can have a large impact on a company 's employees and customers. So each organization should give more emphasize on this.

Chapter-1: Introduction
1.1. Origin of the report:
Companies must develop a working environment that is conducive to open, trusting, caring relationships between people—an environment that welcomes new ideas and encourages constructive feedback and disseminating new ideas. Business communication barriers are anything that inhibits the process of communication of an organization and causes a lack of understanding. The existence of physical barriers, Management isolation, The ambiance surrounding meetings, Consistency of words and actions, Political warfare, poor listening skills and distraction-all these are examples of business communication barriers.
1.2 Background of the report:
Good communication practices are at the heart of every successful business. Without successful internal communications, work processes slow down or grind to a halt and customers are not served properly. When processes do break down, you 'll more than likely find some common communication issues at the root of the problem for managers and employees alike. For having personal experience we have made an overview on the communication barriers of an employee of Eke solutions LTD.
1.3 Objectives:
We have prepared this report based on two purposes. Those are-
1) To develop our Knowledge in communication barriers.
2) And provide more Valuable Information gathered for who passionate employee to want to remove their lacking to communicate with others.
3) Several common communication barriers can lead to disengaged and even conflicting relationships among colleagues. So the another purpose of the repor is to avoid tbad work relationships in the organization.
1.4 Limitations:
We are lucky enough to get a chance to prepare a report on Eke solution Ltd. We tried heart & soul to prepare a well-informed report. But unfortunately we faced some difficulties when preparing this report. We tried to overcome the difficulties. In spite of trying our level best, some difficulties that hamper our schedule report work.
1.4.1 Shortage of time:
Within a short time, we need to prepare some other courses’ reports for in this session.
For this reason, we could not get a fluent time schedule for the report.
1.4.2 Limitation of related with the organization:
The employees of Eke solutions Limited were too busy of there work. For this, they had not sufficient time to fulfill our queries and some of them neglected us to support.
1.4.3 Difficulty in collecting data:
Many employers of the organization were not well known about all information that we asked them. Many of them also hesitated to answer the questions. These things hampered the information collection.
Chapter-2: An overview of the marketing employee’s of Eke Group Companies
2.1. Eke Group of Companies’ Overview:
Eke group of companies has been working at Bangladesh for 15 years. From a struggling group of five, today it has been adapted itself.The only aim of the "EKE" Group is to ensure a long-term business relation through properly marketing of the products, local and foreign, staffed by highly qualified commercial, logistic and financial professionals, serves producers and consumers with the advantages of fast global access to the spot market."EKE" Group today is able to provide complete solutions for the Textile, plastic, Garments, Agro and Metal industries. Quality, competitive price and technical support are the life line of our business. These five companies are-
"EKE" Solutions Ltd:. It has been recognizing success lies in Focus, Quantity, and optimum quality for customer 's satisfaction trough generating services deal with Textile Auxiliaries, Dyestuffs and printing. Distinctiveness of products and services it has already retained the goodwill in textile platform eventually.
"EKE" Polymer & Resin Ltd: Initially explored as the preferred marketing channel to offer long term business. But today it splits skill equally into potential support to the compound of Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE) while make a positive contribution to the development of plastic industries all over Bangladesh.
"EKE" Design & Fashion Ltd: Committed to provide added-value products and high-performance to diversify markets, including Knit, Woven, sweater, Leather. Besides this it negotiates lead times and competitive pricing necessary to customize quality oriented progressive attitude for glorious participation in to design and fashion world.
"EKE" Feeds & Fertilizer Ltd: It is our love for this territory that has seen a dream born, a hope, a big successful story. We have top-ranking management staff and raw material suppling, ensuring the high quality of our products. Our main products are Guano Phosphate, Tea Seed Meal, Gum Rosin, Feather meal, Blood meal, Bone meal, Meat and bone meal, Fish Meal. Pineapple Pulp, Alfalfa pellets.
"EKE" Metals & Steel Ltd:Steel is one of the most attractive, most robust and most sustainable materials in the world. Thousands of different types of steel facilitate and improve our daily life in innumerable applications. Steel is 100% recyclable and therefore contributes significantly to the long-term conservation of fundamental resources for future generations. We are trusted by our customers because of the way we operate. Our people are experienced, reliable and committed to delivering excellent service.
2.Employee’s communication barriers:
I have chosen an individual marketing employee for the “Eke Group of Companies”. In this organization, those communication barriers appears in workplace are given below.
2.2.1. A distracting Environment: voice not being strong enough too many phone calls coming in to their office while he is trying to read his memo their minds are full of other pressing matters their internet connection is slow their internet connection keeps dropping out the room 's air-conditioning is not working and the room is hot and stuffy theroom 's heating is not working and the room is cold and clam.
2.2.2. Poor planning: it refers to the designing, encoding, channel selection and conflicting signals in the organization.
2.2.3. Structure complexities:- difficult organizational structure barrier for free flow of information. Appropriate communication process must be used.
2.2.4. Information overload: if superior provides too much information to the subordinate in short period receiver suffers from information overload which creates barriers to effective communication.
2.2.5. Timing: communication can be obstructed if not done on time. If the information is not provided in time it creates barriers to effective communication.
2.2.6. Emotions: emotion also creates barriers to effective communication like anger, het, mistrust, jealousy etc.
2.2.7. Viewpoint: it also creates barriers to effective communication. It the receiver doesn’t clear the message and ignore without hearing, the message may create obstructions.
2.2.8. Defensiveness: if the receiver receives the message as threat and interprets that message in the same way, it creates barriers to effective communication.
2.2.9.Perception: it is the process of accepting and interpreting the information by the receiver. People receive things differently for a various number of reasons.
.2.2.10. Filtering: communication some time filters the negative information to make it more favorable to the receiver. In this process, knowingly or unknowingly some valuable information may be disposed.
2.2.11. Distrust:superior provides information or message to him to his own view, ideas and

Effective workplace communication allows the office to run more smoothly, promotes opinion which create obstruction in communication. consistency, increases efficiency and creates a more positive environment. To avoid communication barriers of an individual employee, The first step is to learn to become a better listener. If he learns to listen effectively, he will know key points to start a conversation. Some possible solutions are given below.
3.1.Clear& Direct: The employee must be certain the information he need to convey—whether it is spoken or written—is clear and directly communicated. He has also to use language that is specific and unambiguous. He should check that the receiver understands the message as he intended. It is also necessary to avoid acronyms when there’s a chance they will be unclear.
3.2. Actively Listen: Becoming an active listener means he has to make a conscious effort to truly hear what the other person is saying—in their words as well as their body language. Thus he can reduce his communication barriers.
3.3. Face-to-Face: Whenever there are some difficulties among information to convey or something that could result in many questions, the employee must to choose a direct face-to-face conversation.
3.4. Message and Medium: When an employee needs to deliver a message, he has to consider whether it should be spoken or written depending on the content as well as the preference of his receiver.
3.5. Stay Positive: Regardless of the conversation, the employee should try to keep it positive. Even the harshest feedback can and should be delivered in a positive, supportive, team-centric manner.
Chapter-4: Recommendation
The Eke Group of Companies should take some effective steps to reduce their employee’s communication barriers, such as-
The organization should deliver messages skillfully to their employees so that confusion and misconceptions can be reduced. Every organization should use multiple channels to communicate instead of relying on one channel.
Taking the receiver more seriously can establish a better communication
The company should have a positive attitude about communication towards their employees. Defensiveness interferes with communication never bring long term success.
Experiment with communication alternatives is also an important point. What works with one person may not work well with another. So the company should diverse communication channels to avoid barriers.
The organization can also ask for feedback to their employees so that the direct and absolute information can be achieved.
Chapter-5: Conclusion
Communication barriers are always going to be with us because humans are complex beings. I think that’s what makes it a challenge…and sometimes a great source of fun.
Business communication is critical, but there are a variety of barriers that can get in the way. The larger the organization, the more complex these issues are, but basic communication principles apply to businesses of any size. On my report, I have clarified the communication barriers of an individual’s who is an current employee of Eke group of Companies and tried my best to analysis his problems and finally find out some possible solutions.
For the successful running of an organization, it is important that transparency is maintained among the employees at all levels. Communication barriers must be overcome in organizations to ensure the free flow of information between the sender and the recipient and for an effective communication among the employees. For this perspective, I have tried to analyze the employees individual communication barriers and provided some possible solutions.
