Communication Reflection
In this assignment I will talk about my reflection upon the course since I joined and what I have learned from this. What did I resonate with? What moved me? and What didn't work.
When I first thought of what I wanted to do with my life after college, the first thing I thought of was helping people. The next step in deciding what I wanted to do with my life was to exam how I could accomplish this goal.I set myself volunteer jobs as my entire life career. My undergraduate major is economics and I selected business administration as my graduate program. In my MBA program, I learned a lot about the management functions in the company, and how every function in businesses is very important. Actually most of the functions link to each other such as marketing would need help from finance to let them know how much budget is allowed to be used for marketing. This shows that just the way people need help within their links or connection from each other, we students also need as a group to work together as a team and help each other out.And this shows how important the communication is to build connections.
I have undergo many difficulties in communication problems,in some situations I could not express myself very well and people misread my ideas. As an international student ,sometimes I am hindered by the language barriers, sometimes I got stuck and find nothing to say. In the self Introduction of the first class,I found that , giving a public speech, especially in a second language confirmed to be the biggest fear for most of people.
I could improve my oral communication to better help people in my future.

There are many definitions of leadership. The Collins English dictionary defines leadership as “the leader(s) of a party or group.” Yet true leadership is much more than that. A leader can be the chief executive officer of an organization, or a first year employee who leads his or her team to success behind the scenes. A leader might lead through official authority and power, yet just as often great leaders lead through inspiration, persuasion and personal connections. Teaching others to be a leader is a daunting task within itself (Pankaew, 2013).…

Some look at leadership as the ability to lead. I agree 100% with leadership being the ability to lead, but in order to have the ability to lead you have to have more. There has to be a process of social leadership in which a person is able to aid and support others in their accomplishment when it comes to a specific task; this is a process of social influence on someone. Paying attention to how leaders carry themselves and interact with others socially giving guidance and being helpful. Leadership is also organizing a group or team of people to achieve a common goal and sometimes the leader may not have formal authority, but they are leading/guiding the group or team in accomplishing the goal.…

In my opinion, leadership is more than just someone who can enlist the aid of others to accomplish a specific task. It is a characteristic and a lifestyle of a person. True leadership is not displayed on days we feel like it. It is a constant display of ones actions to accomplish tasks and set an example for others to emulate. A leader is someone who can be turned to in the absence of knowledge or direction and will either have the answer or know where to get the answer.…

It is obvious that through the year I have improved in all aspects of my Spanish vocabulary and usage. These projects progressively got more difficult, and with them, my skills progressed. My Spanish speaking is not the best, but it has improved significantly throughout this course.…
