A vision should give the big picture of the way the things should be (The Community Tool Box, 2015). A good leader should have a better vision to lead the team effectively. As it is the leader’s responsibility to direct the people in the right way, they should have a vision that has certain characteristics. The following are the characteristics of the vision of a good leader. It should be meaningful to the followers and realistic. It must be believable and relevant to the team. The vision should attract the followers. It should give the big picture of the future still, should connect the present with the future in a meaningful way (National Defense University, n.d.).
