Compare And Contrast Brian's Winter And The Call Of The Wild
Surviving in the winter is hard,but you can see how hard from the stories. “Brian's winter by Gary Paulsen” and “Call of the wild” by Jack London where characters have to survive in harsh winter conditions.
In the story Brian’s Winter,Brian is very brave.In the text it states “Brian pulled back his foot.: Hey--get out of there.” Keep in mind that he’s kicking a bear,a FULL grown bear.Even though this is a stupid move on Brian’s part,you have to be pretty brave to kick a bear.Also,after the bear throws him across his camp(about 20 feet) he stares as the bear rummages through his supplies and takes his food.Once the bear leaves Brian is determined not to let this get him distracted as he need to prepare for the upcoming winter,as the warm spell
