Compare And Contrast Call Of The Wild

While the situations in Call Of The Wild and Maze Runner are fictional they differ in that Call of The Wild takes the reader deeper into the determined aspect of animal life meanwhile Maze runner provides an insight into the Brave nature and condition of human existence. This essay will go more into depth of how smart they both are.
Body#1 The characteristic of Bravery is readily apparent in both Thomas and Buck. Bucks bravery towards John Thornton when he got shot by an arrow and “Buck Sprang at the foremost man(it was chief of the Yeehats); ripping the throat wide open til the rent jugular spout a fountain of blood.” (p.60) The bravery it took for buck to confront an indian with a weapon to try and save John Thornton. Also Thomas had shown a lot of bravery. He was getting bullied and put in places he didn’t want to be and the people could have just easily killed him if he said something to make them mad but being as brave as Thomas was he stood up for himself and luckily there was no bad consequences.
Buck could sense that if he went on the lake something would go wrong. “He exchanged the whip with a customary club. Buck refused to move under the rain of the heavier blows which now fell upon him.” (p.40) even though Buck was being being beaten to death by club but he knew better than to go out there on thin ice. Similarly, In Maze Runner Thomas was a “Runner” which means that he has to go into the maze and try to study the movement of the maze and try to figure out how they are going to escape. For years they have studied the maze and when it came to the certain time they knew almost exactly where to go to get out of the
