Compare And Contrast Demolisher And Juxtaposition
Long ago before any natural disasters were created there lived two brothers. One was named Demolisher. Demolisher was the god of lava and was very strong. He also had the ability to fly. Demolisher was made of lava and could make things really hot. The other brother was named Boulder. Boulder was the god of rocks and had super strength. He also had the ability to fly. Boulder was made of rocks and looked very dangerous.
These two brothers loved to play with each other and were always competing. One day Zeus, the god of thunder, told them to come to his Palace to impress him and get a reward. As Boulder was doing his act, Demolisher made him trip and fall on Zeus. Boulder was so embarrassed that he ran out of the Palace far away to a small hill.

    Shooting dad has been my favorite story so far. It is very interesting because it balances the relationship between daughters with different views to her father. This story also has very descriptive actions painting a perfect image in my mind when I read it. Sarah Vowell narrates a witty story about how her father‘s political views and interests differed from hers and how they overcame their differences in the essay “Shooting Dad.” Republican versus Democrats manifested itself onto the Vowells’ house’s outside appearance with campaign posters.     The Holocaust in a whole is about people trying to survive. Both “Broken Glass, Broken Lives” and “A Survivor Remembers” tell a story about a survival, only each story has a different survival. In the story “Broken Glass, Broken Lives” by Arnold Geier the general topic is to escape while he still can. The general topic in “A Survivor Remembers” is going day by gruesome day till you can’t anymore. These topics are different but yet the same; they both deal with some sort of survival. Mister Geier in “Broken Glass, Broken Lives” survives not being taken by the Nazis and avoids the terrifying events that could have happened to him but have happened to millions of others. Berek Laturas in “A Survivor Remembers” is a different kind of survivor. He went through all of the horrible events of the Holocaust but somehow by the end of the war he survived it all, which six million others didn’t. The occasion of both stories is almost the same. They both took place in Germany and during the Hitler era. However in “Broken Glass, Broken Lives” it was only at the rise of Hitler, “A Survivor Remembers” was throughout all the events of the Holocaust.…

    Researching the Bible in order to help someone with their problems has been around for centuries. Biblical counseling is a practical and effective way to teach through the understanding of Scripture; that thoughts, attitudes, motives, and words flow from a sinful nature of a selfish heart. In counseling, whether Biblical or secular, the main objective should be to help the counselee with the issues they are dealing with. Focusing on keeping the truth in the forefront of the counselee’s mind and always helping them through the hard times is a very important rule of thumb when counseling. When a counselee has an understanding of Biblical Scripture, the best way to efficiently resolve his or her emotional or social issues is through the use of effective biblical counseling, the foundational method of life. As Lawrence Crabb states in Effective Biblical Counseling, the goal of being an effective Christian counselor is to direct the counselee not in the direction of happiness, but in the path of becoming more like Christ. Crabb (1977) stated, “I must firmly and consciously by an act of my will reject the goal of becoming happy and adopt the goal of becoming more like the Lord.” (Crabb, 20). Although biblical counseling is now a routine form of therapy, the model of Lawrence Crabb, a foundational scholar in the area, resembles the techniques and theories of other authors while still maintaining its varied perspective.…
