Compare And Contrast Essay On San Andreas
There have been many disasters movies from Hollywood, and San Andreas is another disaster film. This movie is about how an earthquake started in the Hoover Dam (Clark County, Nevada), but then it spread out to San Francisco and a Tsunami came. I know some movies are depressing, boring, awful but San Andreas is not one of those kind of movies. This movie is an entertaining movie that you could watch every single day. People think that this movie is a bad one. But this is a wonderful movie.

The first earthquake took place in the Hoover Dam (Clark County, Nevada). The main characters of the movie is Ray ( The ROCK), Blake, Ollie,Ben Taylor, and Emma. Ray is a man who helped many people like he has helped his wife and daughter. Ollie is a young boy he’s Ben Taylor’s brother. Ben Taylor is a young

One of them will be Ray he did a excellent job because he really showed a lot of action on his parts. Ollie did a good job because he helped Blake by using the book that he had. Ben Taylor did a good job. Blake OMG she did a good job because she was a brave girl and she helped Ben with one of his feet that was injured. Emma should've done better better because she didn't really show a lot of fear in the earthquake but she did good in some parts. Mostly every actor did well but one should of done a better job.

There were some parts that I liked and some parts that I disliked. Some parts that I liked is when the big Tsunami came, Ray and Emma passed through that big wave,Ray saved Emma when the earthquake started. Some parts that I disliked is when the man fell in the and he got an arrow on his feet ,so he risked his life just to save a girl that was in danger,Susan went to a door and she felt because she thought that door goes down and she thought that it had stairs, but it didn’t so she died. But the most scene that I really liked is when the big Tsunami came. I just love seeing these kind of

The documentary was made in 1994 shortly after the January 17, 1994 Northridge Earthquake that took place just north of downtown Los Angeles. In the Northridge Earthquake 70 people were killed, 9,000 were injured, and 20 billion dollars in damage was done. The epicenter of the earthquake occurred on the Northridge Fault, which geologists did not even know existed before the quake because it was the work of a blind thrust-fault. There was no rupture in the Earth's crust, but yet the 35 seconds of shaking managed to cause freeways, buildings, and power-lines to collapse. The film shows visuals of the tremendous damage, and left the residents of the region wondering if that was "The Big One".…

The soundtrack was impressive and gave suspense and drama as where needed. The special FX was up to date and gave a realistic feel to the movie. The cinematography is what brought this film's ratings up in my opinion. I really like the irony in the lightning, Especially Pegg's use of zoom-ins and quick cuts… hilarious. Also, the camera angles of when Ed drives himself and Shaun to his parent's house dodging zombies left and right was also very entertaining. I believe I almost jumped out of my seat in fright when Ed hit the lurking zombie speeding down the…

Miller wrote the play because of McCarthyism. Before the court trials anyone, he had a lot of hearings before they chose who is guilty of witchcraft. When the court found out who was guilty, they would be hung between February 1692 and May 1693. Even though The Crucible is based on the Salem witch trials, the play and the movie are different in some ways like the relationship between John Proctor and Abigail Williams, and the towns’ reaction to the Putnam’s.…
