Compare And Contrast Family And Cosby Show

While the family in Father Knows Best(1950s) has resemblance to the Cosby Show(1980s), about a focus on the families in each sit com. However; the way the two-interoperated life is not the same. The two sit coms have many similarities and differences, which took place in two different time periods as well. In comparison, the family in Father Knows Best is very comparable to the family in the Cosby Show due to the way the families acted towards one another. For instance, the families offer a very warm and welcoming vibe as soon as the viewer engages to the televising and making them draw comparisons of the two families. In the Cosby Show, the show was very upbeat, the family was a little bit more realistic and relatable towards todays era. However; Father Know Best is a classic and modern which causes the show to be scripted, trying to be that “perfect American Family”. Another difference which causes the shows to coexist Is the humor which is displayed throughout the show. In the Cosby Show, the kids are very different than FKB children because of the FKB children are so conscious themselves and uptight. However; the children in the Cosby Show are very relative to the show and have a major impact. For example, if the family had a comic dance routine like the Cosby Show during the ending credits, the children in FKB would not even dare to participate. Both shows lived life as a family but one family was a traditional black family while the other family was a traditional white family. Additionally, trying to send a message through each family, for instance the Cosby family is a symbol for African Americans, as the FKB family is trying to show the life of a traditional American
