2. Art became more simple and didn't focus on color as much as having the photo look neat and able to understand. New painters wanted something new with the new century. After years of anti-war art, paintings that focused on freedom and love were a big relief.
3. Sonata form got his name because it had fast solos on the piano. The three parts of the sonata is supposed to explain a journey. The first part of it is the exposition. The exposition is where the theme is shown or exposed. Usually these are repeated so people can remember them. The second part of a sonata is the development. The development is when the themes change and the keys are changed a lot. The last part is the recapitulation. This is where you return back to the original themes and not the development themes.
I think this is like a journey because at the beginning of a story, the hero has a familiar life and familiar people around them but when something comes up that changes that, the development, they have to figure out how to get home or the recapitulation, whether its saving the world or saving someone they love.
