On a sunny Friday, after school, Lila sprinted right through the doors. She hurried off campus and of course, she transported herself somewhere. Timmy worried because it was not safe and their time traveling machine could get taken away. So, right as she sprinted out the school doors, he …show more content…
rushed after her. Little worried Timmy was just running after her, screaming as the portal opened. “Lila, wait! It isn’t safe to open the portal here!” Timmy ran faster than ever, only to fall.
She did not hear anyone hollering, but she jumped into the oval and was traveling.
Lila was going into different worlds, just exploring. She arrived on this plain, red place. There was no life, it was hot. Lila took her backpack off and she reached for the zipper. She pulled out her phone, left her bag on the ground and walked away. There was a martian who was green, and had an underbite. Lila took some pics of him and she went back for bag, but it was gone! Lila was frantically searching for her bag. “I am pretty sure I left my backpack right here, I promise I did.” Lila started mumbling. “My bag is silver, it has sparkles all over it, and it has a keychain on one of the zippers. You can’t miss it, this is Mars. The ground is all red, not earthy but…” As Lila was searching for her bag she saw a martian with a shiny silver
bag.
“Hey! That is my backpack! Give it back!” The green martian turned around and looked right at her. This martian had three eyes, Lila got confused on which eye to look at so she just looked at his forehead. “I would really appreciate it if you gave me my bag, please,” said Lila scarcely.
“Oh yes, of course! Me sorry, this bag thing is a weird shiny object. I was going to bring it to my leader.”
“That is not necessary, can I please have my bag?” “This better be quick,” she thought. The martian had no hesitation and he quickly gave her the bag. Lila prepared to get off the blazing hot planet. Lila’s backpack was open and she didn’t notice at all. As she jumped through the blue oval, a piece of paper slipped out of her bag and the portal shut. Meanwhile, Timmy was still at home trying to figure out a plan. He decided to track her. It sounded creepy, but he could. The time machines had a recent visits button and he saw that she went to Mars. He looked confused but he flipped the switch and watched the oval appear. “Man, why did she go all the way to Mars?” he asked worriedly. The blue oval appeared and through the portal you can see the red dirt on Mars. Timmy jumped in the portal and landed roughly. He searched for Lila, hoping she was okay and not a Martian cabob. He walked around for a little bit and he saw a little silver sparkle. As he was following the sparkles he saw a piece of paper. The paper had Lila’s name on it and from the paper forward, nothing showed she was there. He picked up the paper, folded it, and he put in his right pocket. Timmy went with his gut, hoping she was okay. He turned on the switch home and waited for the oval to appear. “I am sure she is not a Martian cabob.. I mean who would her?” said Timmy. Timmy laughed like a maniac very crazily and jumped in the portal. Meanwhile, Lila was nowhere to be found. She was in a time rift, and she was traveling all over the place. It is like she forgot something somewhere.. But what? Timmy and Lila were both in a time rift and only both of them could get them out of the rift. Time must teach them both a lesson. Timmy bounced back into Mars, with a rough landing. Moments later, she landed pretty harshly. They both looked at each other like they haven’t met. They both said the exact same things and it got annoying. “Well, I don’t think you should ditch, because we are stuck together no matter what.”
“Agreed,” said Lila.
The two best friends transported home together, and alone. Lila really learned her lesson about traveling. Otherwise, you get stuck in a time rift.
