Y/N is wounded from an enemy and she stumbles into Breezehome and tells Lydia to bring her to Farkas. Thinking she’s okay, Y/N wants to give Farkas something. After a while Farkas grows feelings for her, and Lydia notices and gives Farkas a ‘talk”.
I am character x reader x character trash guys tbh.
The dragonborn stumbled into Whiterun, taking a moment to look around at the people as the burn scars on her body burn and her body ached with each step. She held on the necklace with a goat’s horn on it, Farkas sent her out to go get it, since it was very special to him and his brother. He didn’t tell you why it was important though. On your journey to go get the necklace, you happened to stumble upon a dragon …show more content…
flying above you.
The dragon was hard to fight as it kept flying in the air, only a few arrows left-giving the rest to Ria who wanted to go out and hunt. But with Aela not giving her any, Ria decided to ask you as she got out her wooden bow. You laughed softly at the weak bow she had, you were going to tell her to get a better one, but she left before you got to say anything. You were a little nervous for her, it was her first time shooting a bow and nobody had the time to help her out in the lands of skyrim.
Ria is the one who wants to try every weapon, every fighting style.
The (r/o/c) went into her home, Breezehome. Lydia got up from her bread eating upstairs and went down to greet her thane. She grew worried as she saw her thane burns all over her body and her limping stance.
“I-I need to take this to Farkas.” She choked out, holding the necklace by the goat horn.
“No, my thane, you need to be put into bed and have a priest or something heal you up.” Lydia answered, stubbornly. She shaked her head at Lydia, “I’m going.” She turned around slowly, grunting in pain.
Lydia grabbed the dragonborn by her shoulders, pulling her a little closer by moving her grip on her shoulders towards herself. “You’re not going to give that to Farkas, you're not in any good shape at the moment. I’ll give it him.” Lydia takes one of her hands off her shoulder and holds it close to her, glaring at her slightly.
Still true to her word, Y/N pulled herself away from her housecarl’s grip. “You don’t know how much being in this guild means to me! How much I have a crush on him! I look up to him! I doubt you have anyone you look up to!” Y/N shouted, voice echoing in Lydia’s mind. Lydia didn’t know her thane had this much anger built inside her, looking down at her hands in her steel armour, she tried not to cry. “Just..let me help you.” Lydia softly spoke to her, Y/N’s anger dying down.
“I’ll go see a healer after I’m done dealing with Farkas.” She bluntly spoke, feeling a little regret. Soon fading by pain her body caused and her anger of people always bossing her around, thinking she’s not good enough, not listening to her.
As Lydia watched Y/N leave the house, Lydia went upstairs and to her room next to the stairs. Sitting on the edge of her bed, she stared at her armoured boots, rethinking certain things.
“I doubt you have anyone you look up to!”
Lydia did look up to someone, silly to say, it was the dragonborn. Ever since when Lydia saw her walk into the Wind District, she felt an admirable attraction to her hit her, like a dragon’s breath. Then after an amount of time following her, killing bandits, wolves, whatever they passed by, she grew a crush on her.
(This is a little headcanon to her past)
Lydia didn’t know she was into girl’s, growing up in a household where straight and dating a hardy built Nord was the norm. She could care less about that, ever since abandoning them when the guards in her city found out her family was a drug trading household. Most of her family got sent to jail but her, the only child, got sent to an orphanage.
Not just Y/N looked up to someone, as Skyrim depended on her for their safety, Lydia was one of those people who wanted good done in Skyrim.
Y/N tried to get to Jorrvaskr fast on a limping leg and her body aching even more, trying not to disappoint. As she ran, getting closer and closer. She kept thinking about Lydia and how she hurt her feelings, how can someone not go insane from being a person like her? Millions of lives depending on her, being a dragonborn is stressful. Who else could do the job? Last of all, how could she repay Lydia?
Reaching the tree in the middle of Whiterun, she ran past it and up the stone stairs. She ran so fast, her leg feeling a little numb and still hurting, that she pushed the door open fast, she fell over when she accidently hit the lower part of Jorrvaskr. From the door above the ground that Jorrvaskr had, she growled and got up, wincing in pain from her leg. She looked up to see Farkas grinning down at her, trying not to laugh.
“I found..your um..important necklace.” She held up the necklace as she responded in an uncomfortable tone. Farkas’ eyes light up and he snatched it from her hand.
“Why is that necklace so important to you?” She asked, pointing to the necklace Farkas lovingly stared at. “Did you ask Vilkas or anyone around here why we joined the companions?”
The (r/o/c) shaked her head. Farkas looked at her and explained, “Well..it was Vilkas’ & I’s father’s necklace he left us to remember him if he died in the war. Well, he died in the war, we guessed that because he never came back.” Farkas sighed in grief and he lowered his hands from in front of his eyes, gripping the necklace tighter.
“Oh..I’m sorry.” She lowered her eyesight to the wooden floor. He nods and walks off to put it somewhere.
-----------
(First person & a little third person)
Farkas and I ran all around on Skyrim for missions or just exploring Skyrim. Lydia always coming with to make sure we don’t do anything stupid.
We stopped where those giants always are, the dry land. I was relaxing by the steaming water, dipping my feet in. Watching a mammoth & a giant walking somewhere in the distance.
Farkas watched her, smiling to himself.
“You’re creepy.” A bold Nord voice spoke behind me, scaring me a little, I turned around and saw Lydia. “N-No, I’m just watching.”
“Aka stalking.” Lydia took a step forward, “you have nothing to give to her.” Lydia took more steps closer to him and cornered him to a boulder. “Y-Yea I do. What do you have to give her?” Farkas grew a fear feeling about her.
“You’ll kill her, you’re stupid enough to not save her from spiders. You think I don’t have to face my fears to save her? I am scared of trolls and I’d slice one’s head off if they were close to her demise.” Farkas sighed and looks down. Lydia grabs his chin, forcing him to keep his head up. “You can’t even say anything back, too true for you?” Farkas growls and pushes her off him, “enough!” Lydia hisses as she falls back onto the dry ground.
Farkas walks off to Y/N, sitting next to her. He pulls her closer as the wind started to blow.
Later that day, close to night, they set up a tent there. Lydia stared at the sky starting to turn dark, a orange tint to it. The giants distanced away has been harder to see, Lydia felt a little worried about it. Not seeing giants as easily, and harder at night, than day will be scary. As long as she or anyone else don’t bother them, they won’t bother her. Her fear since childhood, she’s been scared of a giant attacking their tent at night. She grew this fear from her father camping out on the dry land with her, taking time away from their horrible wife/mother. Her father never believed in divorce, but if he did he would be divorce her very quickly. Her mother and father fought almost every night.
Knowing Farkas from on their adventures, she wouldn’t be surprised if he angered a giant. She then looked at Farkas and her thane laughing and splashing the warm water back and forth. Lydia glanced back up at the sky and it grew darker. Lydia got up from leaning against the tent, she walked over to them. Her steel boots crunching under her.
“I think you two should get out of the water, it’s getting pretty dark.” Lydia bended over, arms crossed, looking at them.
Y/N & Farkas both looked up to what Lydia was talking about. Lydia’s brow raised when she heard the dragonborn whine, thinking she was more mature than that, she shook her head. Smiling a little at her nonsense, Lydia then went back to the tent, going through the bag they brought. Getting out some rocks and wood, setting them in a circle with the wood in the middle.
The dragonborn came up and casted a fire spell on it, making a campfire. From Skyrim’s nights always being cold, they all sat around the fire for a while.
Lydia looked at the two through the flames. They were back to acting like kids, shoving each other while they joked and told stories. Lydia wouldn’t say she was jealous, but in reality she was. Jealous from Farkas being her new buddy, remembering when her thane use to act like that with herself. Growling under her breath, she looked away to stop the burning feeling she got. Hearing only the faint laughter, she couldn’t take it anymore.
Saying her goodnights to them and that whining from The Dragonborn again, she just wanted to go to bed
early.
With no hope, her thoughts kept her awake in her sleeping bag up to her chest. Her jealous mixed feelings was the only thing she thought, nothing else. Is she just possessive or jealous? She gave up her hopes on being the dragonborn’s only, from seeing in the small opening of the tent, her thane and Farkas were kissing while smiling in the kiss.
Turning on her side, trying not to pour out tears, she was always going to be loyal to the dragonborn. Always following the dragonborn and her problems she gets into, she accepted to never getting a lover.
I honestly don’t know if I should do a part 2 to this, it seems unfinished and I might add on more another time. Does my writing suck?
