Compare And Contrast Parvana And Amelia Earhart

Parvana is a brave and interesting young girl who is the hero of the book “The Breadwinner”. Amelia Earhart was also an interesting lady who was also the hero of a different kind. I chose to compare Parvana and Amelia Earhart because I wanted to choose someone who possibly visited Afghanistan. I wanted to see how many personalities they have. Parvana and Amelia Earhart were both brave, educated, small (in size), determined and both female. Amelia Earhart was brave because she took a risk that many a man would pale at the idea. Parvana is brave because she pretended to be a boy and run under the Taliban’s noses to help her family, fully knowing the risks. Amelia had a much broader education than Parvana because she went to a proper school
