Comparing and contrasting article

Slaves were people who worked for rich landowners and were given poor treatment and bad living conditions. It was a inhumane circumstance for a person to go through and it lasted for 200-300 years. The two articles describe slavery but they have some differences that set them apart; one article talks about a slave auction that happened in 1846 while the other describes the trouble in which a country trying to get over it’s terrible past. Here are some similarities between the two articles.
