First of all, both cities have a developed public transportation system which mainly consists of taxi, bus and train (Mass Rapid Transit or Light Rail Transit). However, one notable difference is that train plays the most important role in Singapore, whereas bus is the dominant vehicle in Suzhou. This could be due to the fact that the train system in Singapore is more developed than that in Suzhou. I think the transport system in Singapore is more rapid and efficient. At the same time, I also like the transit in Suzhou which gives me a chance to appreciate the beauty of the city while travelling.
In addition to public transportation, the climate in Suzhou and Singapore is quite similar to some extent. For instance, Singapore is hot and moist all the year; likewise, Suzhou also has hot, humid summers. That is because Singapore locates at 1°17′N 103°50′E which owns a tropical rainforest climate and Suzhou is located on the Taihu Lake Plain with a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate. Lastly, beauty is another major feature of Singapore and Suzhou. Suzhou is called ‘the paradise on earth’ for its beauty, just as Singapore is called garden city.
