Compare And Contrast Zero Hour And The War Of The Worlds

Have you ever wondered if there is life outside of Earth? In the story “Zero Hour” by Ray Bradbury and The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells there is an alien invasion that happens on Earth. Both authors use their characters to portray passion for the invasion and describe how to save other characters during the invasion.

The differences in “Zero Hour” and The War of the Worlds show both texts that have characters showing passion about the invasion. In the first text “Zero Hour” Mink says, “Hurry, Mom! This is a matter of life and death.”(Bradbury 290) In this quote Mink shows excitement passion for the invasion. In spite of this The War of the Worlds has a different passion, “I faced about again, and rushed toward the approaching Martian,
