Comparing Bruce Wayne And The Caped Crusader At Night
"Oh, you. You just couldn't let me go, could you? This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. You truly are incorruptible, aren't you? You won't kill me out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness. And I won't kill you because you're just too much fun. I think you and I are destined to do this forever." -The Joker

It represents the fact that someone can be strong, but the strength is for nil if they do not have the right mindset. Joker and Batman are indeed strong, but what makes them so great is the clever mind they both carry. Joker knows Batman doesn’t like to kill. So, Joker will inflict pain on him causing him to kill people and Joker himself. If Batman were to kill Joker, not only will it prove Joker’s theory on how easily it is for someone to choose chaos over order, but it will also pain Batman immensely because the very reason he became Batman was to stop people who commit murder. If Joker ever dies, he will have actually “won”. Lucky enough, Batman is clever enough not to ever kill Joker even after all the crimes he committed to him and to Gotham City. No matter how tempted he is, he has already predicted all the outcomes of what could happen and chooses to let the Joker live. In fact, they both probably predicted all the outcomes of each other and what they might do. Having an intelligent mind is an atribute they both

Throughout history every society has had their own heroes of myth and legend; from the Greek heroes of Hercules and Achilles, to the Medieval English heroes King Arthur and Lancelot, and the Early American heroes of Paul Bunyan and Daniel Boone, there have always been and there will always be heroes. Heroes are pillars of a societies values, what a society finds important is what will be found in the overall makeup of the heroes themselves. In today’s society, we have two heroes of comic book legend that stand above all others—Batman and Spider-Man.…

Starting with similarities the thing's that the joker and batman have in common are they both wanna cause anarchy but for completely different reasons, batman wants to do good and have no evil but the joker wants chaos and corruption. Another similaritie is they are both willing to give anything to get what they want, also they do not care about the casualties they cause as long as they get what they want at the end. And the differences between both characters are that joker has no logic like batman, he doesn't think clearly about his decisions and does whatever he feels at the moment. Also the joker doesn't care about Gothem city like batman does he is willing to do anything to protect it while on the other hand joker could care…

    Batman: Good and Evil

In our world, it is widely accepted that Good and Evil are two opposing forces, completely contrasting each other. Through all eras, Good and Evil are depicted as starkly conflicting as black and white. This, however, is a false dichotomy, the continuation of which creates heroes out of those who do not deserve to be worshipped, and villains out of those who do not deserve to be ostracized. This disunion of similar forces is often perpetuated in popular culture and the media. In children’s shows, there is a clear hero and a clear villain (i.e. the Powerpuff Girls vs. Mojo Jojo.) In the news, when a crime is committed, the police forces are almost always depicted as the inherently good force, and the person who committed the crime as the inherently evil force. However, in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins screenplay, this idea is challenged. In this screenplay, Nolan shows that Good and Evil are, in fact, two sides of the same coin, and it is often hard to label a character or entity as one or the other. Furthermore, when two forces engage in conflict, it is not always a clashing of Good against Evil. Nolan shows that the human condition makes it very easy for Evil to infiltrate and corrupt Good. It is much easier, in fact, for Evil to overtake Good than for Good to overtake Evil. In order to avoid this corruption, one must achieve balance between both sides, instead of trying to suppress one. Much of this concept is explored through the character Batman, in his many faults and strengths. Batman is supposed to be a “hero”, but many times his weaknesses get in the way of his quest to bring justice to Gotham City(which is also a very flawed, Evil-ridden place,), making it hard to decide if he is good or evil, and, in fact, where the line between Good and Evil lies; this is a truth that is seen more in the real world than the(commonly accepted) idea of Good and Evil in…

The idea of being conscientious is something that is also evident in both personas, but each is on the polar opposite of the extremes. The identity of Bruce Wayne is very easy-going and carefree choosing to the live the life as a billionaire playboy, seeming to have little or no real care in the world. On the contrast side, the identity of Batman is a very efficient and well organized character. Every move that is made is carefully calculated and thought thru before taking action. Where the complexity comes in with this aspect of the personality is that while each side of the identity seems to be polar opposite, they also…

“Dark Knight” was a smash hit for it’s fame, explosions, and chase scenes, but what really had me on the edge of my seat was perhaps the most riveting villain I had ever seen. The Joker. The Joker is a mob-backed terrorist with suicidal tendencies and According to the DSM, the joker would be given the diagnoses of Antisocial personality disorder. He is not reasonable, he’s not afraid of anything, and the last thing he cares about in the world is himself. As Alfred explained to Bruce, “Some men just want to watch the world burn…
