There isn't really many comparing factors between the book and the movie but some are that Hannah opens the door to let in the prophet Elijah in both the book and the movie. Hannah tells stories to the women and children in her barrack in both the book and the movie and I think that those stories is probably what kept most of them alive throughout the movie. Rivka survives in both the book and the movie because Hannah wanted her to get out so she took her place to go into the gas chambers. Rivka later gets out of the amps and changes her name to Eva like she said she would in the movie to Hannah. Rivka later becomes Hannah's aunt Eva in both the book and the movie. Hannah goes to die for rivka in both the book and the movie. The contrast…

Montag was really muscular and not afraid to do anything. In the book Montag was really wimpy and afraid of a lot. The most drastic change would be in the book Mildred was there and focused on her panels the whole entire time and never payed attention to Montag. In the book they also broke out into a really big fight.…

Movies and books are always different; in a movie you can show multiple characters, and in most books you're stuck in one character's narrative. For instance in the book The Giver the character Fiona doesn’t care about Jonas as deeply as she does in the movie. In the movie she stops her injections, and she starts to love Jonas. However in the book she only “enjoys having Jonas’s company”. In the movie she also helps Jonas steal Gabe before he is killed, and she is put in the community jail for helping him. Before she is going to be released she talks about how she has felt things. That she knows what it is like to truly feel, and in the book she isn’t this unorthodox.…

The book The Outsiders is written by S.E Hinton. It is a book about two gangs called the Socs and the Greasers. They have different social groups and it makes them to where they do not get along. The book was also turned into a movie it was directed by Francis Ford Coppola. There are many differences between the book and the movie. The Book Thief is an encouraging tale of a fictional girl named Liesel. Liesel was raised during a time of great pain and suffering: Nazi Germany. Many Jews, Gypsies, mentally and physically disabled, and others were killed over a ten year timespan. Scope magazine adapted the book and the movie to create a play. One of the characters, named Death, states, “I’m always finding humans at their best and worst. I see their ugly and their beauty, and I wonder how the same thing can be both.” True, we’re all human beings but how we picture the world and react to it is a whole different story. The extent of examples that can be found in the novel, movie, play, and even real life Nazi Germany has a very wide range including the mass murders and the “Harriet Tubman”s.…

The War of the World movie is more interesting than the book because the movie shows how the Martians landed on Earth from Mars. I also like how the Martians killed the people from the heat rays. In the movie, it showed the community working together to take down the Martians. My favorite part of the movie was when the soldiers were fighting off the Martians. The book and the movie are similar because, at the beginning of the book and the movie, the Martians fall from Mars.…

The book and the movie were way different. The characters were different than what they described in the book. Like how the cuninghams boy had cooties. Tom’s arm was suppose to be short but it is the same length in the movie. One of the additions of the movie was Bob came to the Finches car when Atticus was talking to Mrs. Robinson and he was scaring Jem. Mr, Underwood was in his shop with his gun to protect Atticus so the mob did not hurt him. Miss. Maudie's house did not catch on fire. Atticus did not bring a lamp with him to the jail. Those are so of the deletion of the book and the movie. In the book scout had a good relationship with Cal but in the movie she did not. They both have the same themes. “Don’t judge someone if you have not…

There are different ways to get a story from different sources in modern times. Books have been good sources for stories, but movies are getting more popular and have the same story with the books. Why people still reading books; and others are prefer watching the movies? Reading books and watching movies have a lot in common, but there are some differences that makes the readers remain faithful to reading books. Reading books and watching movies are similar because they are telling the same story. They give the reader or the audience the same feelings after reading or watching about the story. The reader can feel sad of the story in a book while the audience can also feel the same after watching about the story in the movie. The general ideas, which are themes and main characters of the story, are the same. For example, Romeo and Juliet is romantic no matter it is read from a book or watched from a movie. A book and a movie both have a beginning, rising actions, and a resolution. The story are formed in the same structure regardless to it is a book or a movie.…

Why are audiences so upset with the way the movie turned out after reading the book? ” Ask any reader who has seen the movie version of a favorite book, and the answer will usually be, the book was better.” (Corliss, 2005, p. 1)They are frequently disappointed because the movie versions are not sticking to their all-time favorite book. Growing up with books like Harry Potter, as readers or having someone reading to us our minds wonder off to this mystical land, picturing how our heroes and villains would look and act. As they take in the words, the reader can almost smell the trees and here the wind blow through the castles. Reading a book compared to watching the movie brings up controversy; with books readers use their minds while watching a movie people sit back and enjoy.…
