Introduction
Qualitative research study can be defined as the systematic research approach that involves description of the various experiences and interpreting their meanings. The main purpose of qualitative research approach is to gain an understanding of a given phenomenon. There are different designs of qualitative research approach that can be used in research studies. The sample for the study should reflect a definite culture of a group of people in the society. The study should therefore targets an entire cultural group in the society such as teachers, social workers, specific race and a particular community among others. The size of the sample for this study should be large enough to give an accurate and reliable reflection of behaviors of the entire cultural groups in the society. For example, a sample size for an ethnographic research design should be composed of 20 or more individuals. Data collection methods in ethnographic research study involve various techniques that require extensive fieldwork and include direct observations, interviews and [place a comma before the final conjunction (and)] interactions with the participants and collection of artifacts, documents and [Insert a comma before this word if this is the last in a list of more than two -- or if it begins a new clause] use of life stories.
