My American Dream is to be more successful than my parents, make them proud and I will always work hard to have the best life as possible especially if I need to support not only me, but a family too. I do understand that the American Dream could be “dead” to society because of lack of job opportunities and lack of education, but nobody could force anybody to go to college and clearly there are less chances of getting a “decent” paying career without having to struggle and live from every paycheck you receive. I see this today and I do see the American Dream still living till this day! From what I read, I actually see a lot of improvement from the 1600s where it all began, until today.
If everybody was successful and everybody went to college and everyone was rich than would there be an American Dream? Would the world be a better place? No, the world wouldn’t be a “better place” because we need the people who work for a company or business that doesn’t require college experience. For example we need soldiers to fight for our country and our freedom, we need store managers, bus drivers, taxi drivers, landscapers and even police officers. Back then Police officers didn’t even need a college education. How would life be without these
