Why Is The American Dream Alive

The American Dream has been the main topic of some people, and people are still wondering if the American dream is Dead, Or Alive, you will have to read to find out.The American dream for me is being able to have a house and a family and to be financially stable or better.The American Dream is alive and well, because in my society, people are moving up in life, like African american and the racial inequality.
When I was a little kid, we came from Mexico to California, we had an aunt in California, she had her family in her home at the time we were there. My family of 6 slept in my aunt's garage in a bed for one person. That's how we lived at the time went by, but then my mom went to school for a bit to learn English. After learning a little
English she started cleaning houses,and the first year of her cleaning house we move out of my aunt's house and then we rented a house. AS the years went by and my mom was cleaning more houses, she was able to buy a house.
So I believe my mom is the example of the American dream.The American dream is what you can achieve and how better you become from where you started. In this quote "The American Dream is that dream of a land in which life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement" by Michelle Obama. Some people might say that the American dream is dead and their family are still in the same poverty Loophole as their grandparents. Put like their story of my mom, she push and push and look where she is, she has her own business, a big house and 10 cars. In this Quote “I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident:
that all men are created equal” (by Martin Luther King Jr). I know that people might say that racial inequality prevents you from moving up the poverty level, but in fact most of the people who moved of in life are immigrants. People from Europe and Mexico are now rich or are living the American dream. So that's the way we all should try to achieve the American dream and don't tell me the American dream is dead.

I read an article and this quote got my attention “We believe that what matters most is not narrow appeals masquerading as values, but the shared values that show the true face of America; not narrow values that divide us, but the shared values that unite us: family, faith, hard work, opportunity and responsibility for all, so that every child, every adult, every parent, every worker in America has an equal shot at living up to their God-given potential.
That is the American dream and the American value” by Senator John Kerry. In quote above is telling us that with a little effort you get out of poverty loophole, which is a depression of which the person can not get out of. In my opininon poverty loophole is just in your mind, because there has been some people who started from scratch and are now a multimillionaire, and what is funny is that they probably only started with a dollar or five. It only take a leap of faith to get out of the poverty loophole and even more even start a business for you and your
kids.

In this quote that Herman Melville’s Followers wrote says“I say, I can not identify that thing which is called happiness, that thing whose token is a laugh, or a smile, or a silent serenity on the lip. I still go straying.” I fill that this quote is speaking to some people that they fill hopeless and that they can get out of poverty loophole, which is the case of most Americans, they are not being able to make ends mean.
The American Dream is Alive and Well, its only takes you to know how are you going to get out of the poverty lope and make a difference in the future of you kids and freinds, its up to you on what you want to do, live in the same poverty loophole as your parents or change that and have your own buisness
