Private vs. Public School
Attending either a Private school with a religious background or a Public school can have advantages and disadvantages. Both Private and Public schools have their respective benefits; however, private school has countless amounts of benefits. From Kindergarten through eighth grade, I attended a 6A size public school with approximately one thousand kids attending. Prior to my freshman year, I decided to move to a private school for my highschool years. I found myself in a class A school with approximately one hundred students. In private schools, a student can find an enhanced education system, courteous and loving students and teachers, and endless opportunities in all aspects.
The main purpose of attending school is to receive a proper education. Public school offers a good education, however, due to the large classroom sizes it is hard to get the one-on-one assistance. In the private school system the classroom sizes are smaller,
Private schools classrooms size are smaller and offer advanced curriculums to challenge its students. Public schools classroom sizes are larger and can be intimidating for some students. Although both private and public schools can have cliques, it is easy to become friends with your classmates at a private school. The Christian atmosphere provided at a private schools helps develop the character of its students and this encourages the students to bond. While both private and public schools both offer many extra-curricular activities, it is very easy to become as involved as a student wishes at a private school. Most public school groups and teams allow limited members, so usually only the best are allowed to participate making it difficult for an average student to get involved. The education, school environment, and opportunities provided to the students at a private school is exceptional compared to that of a 6A public
