During their early life, they both served in a war. Washington was commander in chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. On otherside, Jackson was also a militia commander. They both are related to a great accomplishment during their military career. The colonist wanted an independence from the british. So, Washington led colonist to a victory over british. While on other side, Jackson led his army to victory over british, as they were setting up the plan to attack the new orleans. Due to Jackson’s brilliant intelligence in leadership, he took his side over the victory. Another similarity between Washington and Jackson is that, they both were farmers before they became president of the United States of America. “George Washington devoted his life to the improvement of American agriculture. While his initial interest in farming was driven by his own needs to earn a living and improve Mount Vernon, in later years Washington realized his leadership and experimentation could assist all American farmers” (mountvernon.com). George Washington was very much into the farming in his early life and wanted to change the America’s agriculture farming style to increase the efficiency of growing crops.
