George Washington was one of the best presidents in my Opinion. The reason i say that is because he did not want to go to war. George Washington was born on February 22, 1732, in Westmoreland County, Virginia. George Washington was president in the year of 1789 To 1797. Who is George Washington? He was born on February 22, 1732. His height is 6”2” . He didn't have a middle name. His father died when he was 11 and he bought the farm later on. He never chopped down a cherry tree in his life. He was not very religious. His wife was Martha and they were married for 40 years. He had two stepchildren which were marthas. Everyone said his hair was a wig but i was his real hair. Before he died he called Mount vernon his home. (25 facts) In conclusion these are the reasons for his life.and what happened. His sickness was showing that he was going to die.The reason i say that is that he was the one sickest president in history. He may or may not have died as a result of medical malpractice.     Presidential Evaluation- George Washington was a president of the highest measures. He set up the office of the president almost single-handedly and had to settle disgruntled farmers in western Pennsylvania that were specters of the original Revolutionaries. He also had to juggle both the British and French harassments and also choose to not support the new French government in their war against Britain.     George Washington acted in the best interests of America. He was revolutionary war hero who was elected unanimously for president (O.K.). As the president he needed to set precedents that first made the office respected. He took others’ advice, and as a result was well liked and trusted (Doc. 1).
