George Washington Prepared For War

“ To be Prepared for war is one of the most effective means of preserving peace”. (George Washington)In the beginning George Washington was a normal kid his mom and dad had a Plantation farm and worked in it. When he became a teenager he started the military and worked his way up to become a great leader. He led our troop in the american revolution and he put them first and inspired them to keep fighting. In the end they won and because he was such a good leader he became the first president of the United States. Through George Washington’s life he did many things for our country and without him there wouldn't be the nation we are today.

A boycott started on the british to take action which led to the first continental congress meeting. When he won his election as a delegate he went to the first continental meeting in 1774 and the second in 1775. In 1775 Washington was elected Commander Chief of the continental army. He got many troops ready for the war that was about to out break and change their lives forever. He realized always bugging the British would help him and his men win the war., He would always say ” we should on all Occasions avoid a general Action, or put anything to the Risque, unless compelled by a necessity, into which we ought never to be drawn.” (Washington)His men would always go back and start to lose and then out of superis in a miracle they would come back and win. On the day of September 15, the rest of the men washington had arrived to conquer Yorktown placing weapons and closing in on the British. All the forces on of the british October 9, became superside on the americans coming in on them so quick when the didn't see it coming and were not ready for the ambush so it led to Cornwallis surrendering a causing washington the victory of the Battle.After they won the war everyone realized Washington was the best leader they ever had so They
