a. Who is your target market?
My target market is the childcare industry.

b. How would you position your price to this market?
I would use competitive pricing strategy. I would use competitive pricing strategy. By using this concept does not necessarily mean that the company will pay me what I want but it will put a great deal of thought into the prices of the competitors. In other words, I would take into consideration the prices of my competition and use that to determine what I believe is a fair salary.

c. What are the psychological pricing considerations?
I would take into consideration my level of experience. Therefore, I would charge a price that may be slightly higher but that would be because I have more experience than others. I don’t want a price that is too low because employers may wonder why so low. They may question my experience or qualifications.

d. What are the image considerations?
I believe that the company has high standards. I would maintain that I am reliable, responsible, and able to multi-task. I am a professional and have good work ethics.

e. What are the promotional considerations?

I would provide degrees, and or certificates that indicate my qualifications. I would also provide references and any other documents that show my experience in the

In determining this price, an integrated demand-competition orientated approach was decided upon, emphasising consumer preferences above factors such as cost, while stressing competitor’s pricing (Kerin, et al., 2008). Furthermore, the penetration pricing strategy was used as a basis for entering the market.…

The consumer will not take the product seriously if it is too low as well as over pricing will drive customers away. If a potential customer finds the price unacceptable then all the planning effort is wasted (McCarthy, E.J., & Perrault, W.D., 2004). There are several pricing strategies to consider when setting the price. One should consider whether one is trying to gain market share, product uniqueness, geographical location, or economies (Marketing Teacher, 2000). Explain at least four of the seven steps for setting an initial price for a product or service? Selecting the pricing objective is deciding where it wants to position its market offering. Survival, maximum current profit, maximum market share, maximum market skimming, or product-quality leadership are five major objectives that a company can pursue through its pricing. A company’s choice of objective is strategically important. A company usually can’t attain more than one objective simultaneously. Market pricing is both more and less than job evaluation. It is more than job evaluation in that the final product is a wage structure, not a job structure as in job evaluation. It is less than job evaluation in that it provides a wage structure based solely upon competitive wage rates. The organization 's strategy is limited to the determination of the appropriate wage level and not the determination of the importance of jobs to the organization.…
