Concert Review
Last summer, my sister bought tickets to see a Celine Dion concert in Las Vegas, Nevada. Of course, we have to wear formal attire. The concert that we’re attending to was at Caesars Palace. There was a majority of white and European people who attended Celine Dion’s concert. Before the concert, everyone was supposed to find their own seat. The concert itself looked appealing because it had red drapes, colorful stage lights, and nice sound systems. As I look around, I saw a majority of old people and couples sitting together. The singer was born in Canada and she can also speak in French. I was a little bit disappointed because she didn’t invite any other singers. Celine Dion has a truly powerful voice that when she sings you get goose bumps. The concert had a lot of props which were used on stage while the singer was performing. We weren’t allowed to use our cameras during the performance. There were times when people will stand up from their seats and applause. There was also a time when Celine Dion cried on stage which made the whole audience cry. There were pictures of Celine Dion and her family on a slideshow. I wasn’t really a fan of Celine Dion, but ultimately she surprised me and her vocal performance led me with goose bumps! The concert experience made me realize of how open -minded I should be towards other singers. She sang a French song in the end that brought people to tears. I never really appreciated her music, but going to her concert and listening to her own voice gave me chills! Celine Dion is a legend because even though she’s old her voice still remains the same. The concert experience helped me become more open-minded. I am from Southeast Asia and listening to a singer from a different culture is an eye opener. The musical instruments that were performed during the concert were a microphone, a piano, a saxophone, and a trumpet. Celine Dion would sing and walk around the stage. It wasn’t a concert
