In sixth grade my brother got a concussion. It happen when he was play football in a tournament. On a kick off the other team’s player hit my brother in the head and he didn't get up for a couple minutes. After he got up he couldn't see anything like he was blind and sat on the sideline the rest of the game.
After the concussion my brother spent a lot of time at home. When ever he was in a room all the lights had to be turned off. He could not use electronics for a couple days like the Tv, his phone, iPad. He couldn't go to school for a week so he had lots of missing assignments and homework. …show more content…
When he went to school the next week everything was back to normal.
He could use technology again. He hung out with his friends. He could play sports again, but he had a lot of missing assignments.
These are all reasons concussions are one of the worst injuries to have. This is what happens if you aren't prepared in sports. After all this happened I will always remember to keep my head on a swivel during
sports.
