When looking at Liberalism, liberalists advocated for less government interference and believed people should use reason to make decisions. I personally do not believe that violent tactics allow for any form of change. Violence only leads to death and enemies and in politics to obtain power and to have a strong system, alliances with other strong powerful nations is crucial. When taking a pacifist approach, communication and nonviolent means have a better chance and rectifying the situation rather than making things worse. When looking at leaders in Pacifism like Gandhi, he is remembered for his kind nature and he is known for solving problems with a nonviolent humane approach. Whereas, when leaders like Hitler and Mussolini are remembered, they are remembered for death, racism and barbaric acts, which did not lead to good change for a governing society.
