“Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way.” Edward de Bono
In this paper I am going to discuss the relationship I see in the current issue or dilemma and propose solutions. There are many things that I would not agree with or I do not think are right or simply cannot find that some aspects of our creative culture are being supported as they should. The fact that art and cultural institutions or even ideas are not being supported nowadays appears to me as big issue. I think that, in the past an artist of any kind was more respected and treated then artist today. Long time ago if you were an artist all the doors where open to you, people wanted you to live in their households and create art. They were well fed, paid well and treated with a dignity. Today an artist appears to be unnecessary product of constantly developing society. Sometimes I feel that people do not understand how much value brings art to our life. Overall I feel that people do not appreciate artists as they used to be in Renaissance times. For example Leonardo da Vinci was working for multiple families but one who was the most generous was Francis First in France. According to Museum of Science website, “Following the death of his patron Giuliano de' Medici in March of 1516, he was offered the title of Premier Painter and Engineer and Architect of the King by Francis I in France. His last and perhaps most generous patron, Francis I provided Leonardo with a cushy job, including a stipend and manor house near the royal chateau at Amboise. “Leonardo as many other artists in the past were valued for their creative mind and work. Today people do not understand how much work it takes for an artist’s to put their “hearts on the plate” with the hope of recognition and appreciation. Nowadays artists are on their own; they are treated like cheap labor for art events and often used by others. According to Art
